Don Bacon Doubles Down on Cutting Social Security
Omaha, Neb. – Less than a week into his re-election campaign, Don Bacon is reminding Nebraskans just how out of touch he is.
In an interview on KFAB earlier this week, Bacon restated his support for cutting social security benefits, saying that he suggests “raising the retirement age by a year.”
“Make no mistake about it, raising the retirement age is a cut to social security benefits for Nebraska workers,” said State Senator Tony Vargas. “In Congress, just as I have in the Legislature, I’ll always fight for workers and I’ll work to ensure that social security is preserved.”
